Leverock misses out with bat for Notts
Kamau Leverock played in Nottinghamshire Second XI’s six-wicket win over Northamptonshire Second XI in the Eleven Trophy North Division at Lancot Park in Totternhoe, Bedfordshire, yesterday.
The Bermuda all-rounder did not bowl for Nottinghamshire as Northants scored 165 off 44.2 overs after being put into bat in the 50-over match.
Leverock, batting at No 5, scored one run off four balls before being trapped lbw.
Nottinghamshire reached the required total off 32.4 overs, with opener William Fraine top scoring with 58.
Leverock was part of the Bermuda team that suffered relegation to the ICC World Cricket League Division Five in Malaysia earlier this month,
The 23-year-old missed the first two matches, defeats to Denmark and Uganda, because of disciplinary reasons in the wake of an outburst in training.
He was named man of the match in their third game, 58-run victory over Jersey, after scoring 66.
