Newstead Belmont Hills Golf Resort & Spa, in partnership with the LPGA-AGA Bermuda Chapter, will host its first “Pink Links Fore the Cure” Charity Golf Tournament benefitting the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre. All profits from the event will be donated to the Centre whose mission is to provide the highest standard of early detection, radiation treatment support, care and education for cancer and other diseases to all.

The event will begin on Friday evening, October 26, with a cocktail reception for the Gold, Silver and Bronze sponsors as well as tee and green sponsors at Newstead Belmont Hills Golf Resort & Spa’s pool deck overlooking Hamilton Harbour from 6:00-8:00 p.m. On Saturday, October 27, the tournament will kick-off at Newstead Belmont Hills Golf Club with a continental breakfast and registration at 7:15 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. The day will conclude with a reception, tournament prizes and check donation ceremony.

“We welcome the opportunity to do our part in the fight against cancer and help support the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre which is so critical to the residents of Bermuda,” said Bushara Bushara, general manager of Newstead Belmont Hills Golf Resort & Spa. “Gauging by the response so far, we think this tournament will be a great success and we look forward to making it an annual event during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.”

“We are thrilled to have been chosen as the recipient of the “Pink Links Fore the Cure” event which pairs physical activity with raising money to support breast cancer awareness, early detection and radiation therapy treatment,” said Deborah Titterton Narraway, chief marketing officer at Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre. “We encourage you to dig out the clubs, gather a foursome and participate in this great event.”
